BIFOLDING.CO.UK are based in Northern Ireland.

We supply the Irish market with top quality aluminium and U-PVC products including sliding patio doors,french casement doors and a full range of domestic entrance and exit doors and accessories.

In recent years we have experience an increasing demand for bi-fold doors and have developed expertise and knowledge in this field. After evaluating and trying many systems on the market we believe we have found the ultimate folding sliding door- The Espo 50 and 80 series by Espai of Spain.

We are delighted to be offering the Espai Sistemas range, including the ESPO® folding sliding doors. ESPO® has a portfolio of eleven folding door systems which have been specifically designed to meet industry standards around the world.

We have decided to offer two of the systems available to us, the 80 series and the 55 series. Both of these ultra slim systems run smoothly on a top track and are easily capable of spanning large areas, for example, around swimming pools or fully across the back of a home.

All our Doors are Glazed with Edgetech Superseal foam spacer Double Glazed Units with Pilkington K Low E Glass - Argon Gas Filled giving a U-Value of approx 1.2 Qualifying for A Grade Energy Saving Rating.

ESPO® Systems

Whichever series you choose the natural light will flood in! Both systems have ultra slim lines with a mere 127mm from glass to glass!

The doors slim lines belie the fact that our systems are strong, secure and extremely durable. The research and development department at ESPO® has produced a full range of hardware and weatherseals for all systems. So when you choose our doors you are assured that every part has been made to perform its own role within the full system. Both are available with floor flush bottom tracks-no awkward stepping over.

The 80 and 55 series easily cope with tall openings and by choosing the ‘R’ version you can accommodate an opening in access of three metres high. Installations of over 20 panels are also easily achieved with either of these systems.

High Security

ESPO® have developed a range of locking mechanisms and hinges designed especially for their systems. The main panel will be fitted with stainless steel, key operated multi point lock with all intermediate panels having our unique double security concealed shootbolts with key locking as standard. All exposed hinges have been designed with built in security, the stainless steel hinge pin is protected with a fixing screw which is only accessible when the doors are open.

Weather Tight

Weather proofing has also been well thought out; all panels are fitted with triple weather gaskets that compress easily ensuring excellent performance. ESPO® doors are subjected to the most stringent European atmospheric tests and demonstrate a high level of weather protection and resistance to wind, rain and other external weathering factors

80 Series Aluminium Bi-Folding Door

The 80 series is our Exterior Bi-Fold Door. By utilising a state of the art polyamide thermal barrier these doors are the choice to keep warmth inside during the winter months without suffering condensation. The slim lines, security and thermal performance of the 80 series door make them the natural choice for use in Ireland and Europe.

If you are looking to fully open the rear of your property/conservatory or enclose a swimming pool these are the doors for you. The compact design means that when fully folded you gain up to 90% of the opening space and when closed the slim lines of the system allow natural light to flood in.

55 Series Aluminium Bi-Folding Door

This series is used around the world in many applications. The 55 series is a non-thermally broken system which is ideally suited for internal use – whether you choose this door as the intermediate opening between the house and new conservatory/extension or use to sub-divide an internal space this series is truly the ultimate room divider.

The 55 is also the preferred specification for commercial use within public houses or to open the front of a café or restaurant
